Crimson

 

Our prompt for Week 7 at 52 Photos is crimson.  We have the flexibility to include any shade of red, however.  According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, crimson is "Any of several deep purplish reds". 

I've been preserving and baking with the rhubarb, but the strawberries we eat too quickly just as they are to have done much other than one strawberry rhubarb crisp.  It's such a pleasure to have local, fresh fruit to eat now, and for months to come. 

Aah, and to be barefoot again!
